- The Scorecard Error: Aaron is unfortunately known for marking a 4 instead of 3 on Roberto De Vicenzo's 1968 Masters scorecard, costing De Vicenzo a playoff
- Ironic Redemption: At the 1973 Masters, Aaron's playing partner Johnny Miller made a similar error on Aaron's card, but Aaron caught the mistake
