Genesis Invitational
Riviera Country Club · Pacific Palisades, CA · February · Hosted by Tiger Woods
The Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club is one of the most storied events on the PGA Tour — and arguably the most beautiful venue in American golf. Perched in the Santa Monica Mountains above Los Angeles, Riviera's 1927 George Thomas design is widely regarded as one of the top 10 courses in the United States.
Since 2017, the tournament has been hosted by Tiger Woods and his TGR Foundation, raising funds for STEM education programs. It carries an elevated $20 million purse with a limited field of the world's best — a Signature Event in every sense.
The great irony: Tiger has never won at Riviera as a professional. Despite hosting the event and finishing runner-up multiple times, the one course that has eluded the greatest player of his era remains his most famous unfinished business.
